Activities

The Kingston Upon Thames Association for the Blind also known as Kingston Sightloss Support has been empowering blind and partially sighted residents of all ages since 1966 through services and activities, supporting them to adapt to life with little or no sight. Raising awareness of issues and barriers faced in everyday life to find solutions to increase inclusivity and accessibility.

Objects: 3.1 The Objects Of The Association Are, For The Public Benefit, To Relieve The Needs Of People, In Particular Those Who Live Or Work In Kingston Upon Thames And The Surrounding Areas, With Sight Loss And Their Families Or Carers By Providing:3.1.1 Inclusive And Accessible Recreational And Leisure Activities;3.1.2 Practical Advice And Assistance;3.1.3 Grants And Financial Support; And3.1.4 Raising Public Awareness Of The Issues Affecting People With Sight Loss.
