Many families lived below the<br>absolute poverty line, relying on the kindness<br>of strangers and whatever limited<br>government aid was available at the time.<br>The charity has run several fundraisers<br>to assist the c. 500 families we've formally<br>supported since our incorporation.<br>The collected funds were used to purchase<br>food and foodstuffs, blankets, and other<br>sundries to support them through the<br>winter months.<br>The charity also collected zakat money and<br>other general funds through March-May<br>2024 for distribution throughout Ramadan<br>1446H up to Eid al-Adha 1446H.<br>Through the support provided to these families,<br>they regain the confidence and stability necessary<br>to rebuild, contribute back to their country and the<br>wider global economy, and give hope of a<br>better world to future generations.|
