**Objects:** THE OBJECT OF THE CIO, TO BE CARRIED OUT FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN SUCH PARTS OF ENGLAND AND WALES AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL DETERMINE, IS:TO RELIEVE THE CHARITABLE NEEDS OF VETERANS OF THE BRITISH ARMED FORCES (OR OF THE MERCHANT NAVY WHO HAVE SERVED IN BRITISH MILITARY OPERATIONS) LIVING IN RESIDENTIAL/NURSING CARE HOMES, ARISING FROM ILL HEALTH, SOCIAL ISOLATION AND/OR FINANCIAL DISADVANTAGE, THROUGH THE PROVISION OF GRANTS, SERVICES, ADVICE AND PRACTICAL SUPPORT TO INDIVIDUALS IN NEED AND/OR CHARITIES, OR OTHER ORGANISATIONS, WORKING TO ASSIST SUCH INDIVIDUALS.

**Activities:** We, Locate, Engage and Integrate the "Forgotten Army" of Armed Forces Veterans in Care Homes along with their families and carers into the veteran community.  We also provide workshops to help carers understand what a veteran is and provide resources that assist carers and family in communicating with veterans about their service days. Reminiscing especially helps those with dementia.
