outstandingly high quality, with varied
programmes of popular favourites combined
with exquisite yet little known works, as was
exemplified by the opening concert which
headlined Vivaldi’s_Four Seasons_,
interspersed with works by MacMillan,
Caroline Shaw, Lili Boulanger, and Arvo
Pärt.
The_Music in the Gardens_event engaged
visitors to Enys Gardens who may not have
particularly sought out classical music, but
were able to enjoy it as they wandered
through the Gardens.
The Grand Finale, held in King Charles the
Martyr Church in Falmouth, was a
magnificent ending to the Festival, and was
sold out.
