We envision a Spirit-led movement of believers deeply rooted in the Vine, living in authentic community, demonstrating the love of Christ and bringing hope, restoration and revival wherever God sends them. To awaken, empower, raise and equip a remnant of believers who cultivate deep intimacy with God, live lives marked by revival, and become influential disciples of Jesus Christ in every sphere of society. We’re cultivating a movement of fruitful disciples who are deeply anchored in His Word, led by His Spirit and equipped to influence their families, churches, communities, workplaces and nations for the glory of Christ. We exist to see believers transformed by the Gospel and equipped to bring lasting Kingdom impact wherever God has placed them. _"By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples." - John 15:8_ The Vine Movement ## Trustees' Annual Report ## **Trustee's Introduction** 2025 marked an important milestone in the life of The Vine Movement as the charity's first reporting period following registration. Throughout the year the trustees focused on establishing strong spiritual, operational and governance foundations while remaining committed to the charity's purpose of advancing the Christian faith. The trustees are grateful to every volunteer, supporter, donor and participant who contributed to the work of the charity. Through their generosity and commitment, The Vine Movement was able to deliver worship gatherings, biblical teaching, discipleship opportunities, leadership development initiatives and a residential ministry retreat. Although still in the early stages of its journey, the charity has established a solid foundation upon which future ministry can continue to grow. ## **Reference and Administrative Details** The Vine Movement is a registered Christian charity established to advance the Christian faith through worship, biblical teaching, discipleship, prayer, leadership development and community outreach. Responsibility for the charity rests with its trustees, who oversee governance, financial stewardship, strategic planning and compliance with charity law. ## **Objectives and Activities** The charity exists to advance the Christian faith by providing opportunities for worship, prayer, biblical teaching and discipleship. Activities are designed to help individuals grow in their relationship with Christ, develop Christian leadership and build authentic community. During the reporting period the charity delivered regular ministry gatherings, discipleship meetings, leadership conversations, corporate prayer, Bible teaching sessions and a residential retreat. Digital platforms were also used to communicate teaching, encourage participation and engage with individuals beyond in-person gatherings. ## **Public Benefit** The trustees have had due regard to the Charity Commission's guidance on public benefit. The activities undertaken throughout the year were intended to provide a clear public benefit by making Christian teaching, worship and discipleship opportunities available to members of the public. Wherever possible, the charity sought to minimise financial barriers to participation through the support of voluntary giving. The Vine Movement ## **Achievements and Performance** The reporting period represented a year of growth and establishment. Alongside the ongoing delivery of ministry gatherings, the charity successfully organised a residential ministry retreat in Ireland, providing an opportunity for concentrated worship, prayer, biblical teaching and fellowship. The charity also continued investing in leadership development by creating opportunities for emerging leaders to serve, learn and participate in ministry. Volunteers played a significant role in supporting hospitality, administration, event logistics, worship and practical operations. Investment was made in the charity's website and digital infrastructure to strengthen communication with participants and supporters. Donations enabled the charity to secure venues, purchase ministry resources, provide accommodation and travel where necessary, and ensure that ministry activities were delivered effectively. The trustees have been encouraged by the continued growth of the ministry community, increasing engagement with events and the willingness of individuals to support the charity through volunteering, financial giving and prayer. ## **Volunteers** The trustees recognise the invaluable contribution made by volunteers throughout the year. Volunteers supported event planning, hospitality, administration, worship, practical logistics and participant care. Their generosity significantly increased the charity's ability to deliver its charitable activities and maximise the impact of donated funds. ## **Financial Review** The accounts have been prepared on the receipts and payments basis. Gross income for the period totalled £10,912.14. Income was derived principally from voluntary donations, seed offerings and receipts generated through charitable activities such as ministry events and retreats. Funds were applied directly towards advancing the charity's objectives, including venue hire, travel, accommodation, event resources, hospitality, website and software costs, communications and ministry supplies. Throughout the year the trustees exercised careful stewardship of the charity's finances, reviewing expenditure regularly and ensuring that funds were applied responsibly in furtherance of the charity's purposes. The Vine Movement ## **Governance and Risk Management** The trustees met regularly throughout the reporting period to oversee the activities and finances of the charity. Financial decisions were monitored carefully, expenditure was reviewed before approval and the charity maintained appropriate records. Recognising that the charity is still in its formative years, the trustees intend to continue strengthening governance by developing additional written policies, enhancing internal controls and reviewing operational risks on an ongoing basis. ## **Future Plans** The trustees remain committed to building a healthy, sustainable ministry centred on discipleship and biblical teaching. ## **Key priorities for the coming year include:** • delivering further worship gatherings and teaching events; • expanding discipleship opportunities; - continuing residential retreats and conferences, including The Covering; • strengthening leadership development; - increasing volunteer engagement; - improving governance documentation and operational systems; - developing sustainable funding to support future ministry growth. The trustees believe these priorities will strengthen the charity's long-term effectiveness while ensuring faithful stewardship of the resources entrusted to it. ## **Trustees' Responsibilities** The trustees are responsible for preparing the Trustees' Annual Report and the accompanying receipts and payments accounts, maintaining proper accounting records, safeguarding the charity's assets and ensuring that charitable funds are used solely in furtherance of the charity's objects.
