Activities

The Volunteers Charity is based at The Hub in Banks, operating independently to increase community involvement and volunteering opportunities for the local community. Our volunteers run a lunch club, we support the community cafe to provide social and work experience, and we provide free activities for local children and their families. Our volunteers also help to maintain The Hub and its grounds.

Objects: 1. To Further Or Benefit The Residents Of The Village Of Banks In Southport And The Surrounding Areas, Without Distinction Of Sex, Sexual Orientation, Race Or Of Political, Religious Or Other Opinions By Associating Together The Said Residents And The Local Authorities, Voluntary And Other Organisations In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Leisure Time Occupation With The Objective Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Residents.2.the Prevention Or Relief Of Poverty In The Village Of Banks In Southport And The Surrounding Areas In In Such Ways As The Trustees May Determine.
