**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE:THE PREVENTION AND RELIEF OF SUFFERING OF ANIMALS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC IN PARTICULAR (BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY) BY THE PROVISION OF VETERINARY MEDICINES, HEALTHCARE AND PREVENTATIVE TREATMENTS AT REDUCED, LOW OR NO COST FOR:(A) ANIMALS BEING CARED FOR, OR THAT HAVE PREVIOUSLY BEEN CARED FOR, BY ANIMAL WELFARE CHARITIES, CHARITABLE ANIMAL RESCUE AND REHOMING CENTRES (INCLUDING TO HELP THOSE CHARITIES TO RE-HOME ANIMALS WITH CHRONIC HEALTH CONDITIONS);(B) ASSISTANCE ANIMALS OWNED, PROVIDED OR SUPPORTED BY CHARITIES WHICH PROVIDE (OR SUPPORT IN THE PROVISION OF) ASSISTANCE ANIMALS TO PEOPLE IN NEED BECAUSE OF ILL HEALTH OR DISABILITY;(C) ASSISTANCE ANIMALS IN THE CARE OF PEOPLE PROVIDED WITH THEM BY CHARITIES TO RELIEVE THEIR ILL HEALTH OR DISABILITY.
