Activities (1/11/24 – 31/10/25)
Marden Parish Trust (MPT) was set up for the purpose of running the new Parish Hall to be built in Marden. Unfortunately the anticipated commencement of work on building the new Parish Hall has been delayed by Herefordshire Council not giving final approval for other aspects of the development of which the Parish Hall is a part. Consequently there has been relatively little activity by the MPT during this period. The Trustees have had some input into the layout of the hall (which will be owned by Marden Parish Council) and work has commenced on a potential lease from the Parish Council to the MPT and this is currently with solicitors for comment.
Approval has now been given for the overall development and work on the construction of the new hall is expected to commence in November 2025, thus 2026 will be when the work of the MPT really starts.
Financial Statement
As Indicated in the activities report there has been no significant activity by the MPT in this period. There has been no income and no expenditure to or from the charity.
