The advancement of education of the public in the subject of the history and meaning of St Andrew's Church Greystoke by any means as the trustees in their discretion shall determine. March **2012** **TAR** 3 We held a launch of the new charity by creating an open day in the church which fulfilled part of our objectives of educating the public about the church and its history. Those who came were encouraged to sign up as members for the charity by filling in membership forms. The Friends group took part in National Heritage Week which took the form of an open day in the church.This enabled the trustees to educate and inform the public of the many historical aspects of the church building, whilst emphasising the need for constant funds for its upkeep.
