Review of progress and achievements
We have seen the continued development of the mentoring and leadership programs, and
we have been working on developing partnerships with other churches and organisations
where we can establish long term fflutually fruitful relationships.
The year-round discipleship programs continue to run, making more of these sessions in
person.
Also, the young leaders, program is progressing well, as we equip our young people to
become leaders in their own right, on our own weeks and courses as well as in other settings.
A significant part of our work is funded by the incomelgains from our investment portfolio,
managed by professional wealth managers. Our investment policy is to invest in low to
medium risk ethical investments. We continue to review the performance of our wealth
managers and are satisfied that they are managing the performance of our investments in
line with market performance.
We continue to assess and shape the work of the Trust on an ongoing bas15 to ensure we
achieve our vision in the best possible way. We extend our warmest thanks to all our
supporters, financial and otherwise, and volunteers for their continued support of our work.
Future Plans
In accordance with the general recommendations of the Charities Commission that the new
legal form of a Charitable Incorporated Organisation is a more suitable format for charities to
operate under. the operations and assets of Axe Valley Christian Trust (charity no. 2857831
have been transferred to the Upcott Christian Trust on 0110812025. The objectives and
activities of Avct will continue unchanged under the Upcott Christian Trust IUCTI.
UCT plans to continue the activities outlined above in forthcoming years and to continue to
continue to build the number of people we are supporting with our activities. as well as the
resource to provide these activities. This will include forming partnerships with like-minded
organisations to support them in the development needs of their people and activities.

Reserve5 Policy
The trustees have examined the charity's requirements for reserves in light of the key
operational, governance, compliance and risks to the organisation.
The unrestricted funds of £8,375 held in cash as at 30 September 2025 and investment assets
of £644,841, which can be quickly and easily liquidated, are more than sufficient to meet this
objective.
The trustees do not currently have concerns about the ability of the charity to continue as a
going concern.
