STRUCTURE. GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT
Moor House School & College CIO I"Moor House") operates under a constitution agreed by the
applicants to the registration of Moor House on 20 August 2024.
Moor House, registered charity number 1210562, was registered as a Charitable Incorporated
Organisation ICIOI by the Charity Commission for England and Wales on 18 October 2024.

Moor House had no staff during the period ended 31 August 2025 and therefore the Trustee5
were responsible for the operation of the charity. None of the trustees have been paid any
remuneration or received any other benefits from employment with their charity or a related
entity.
OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES
Moor House has been established with identical purposes to those of Moor House School &
College, I'the charit/'l a registered charitable trust, registration number 311871, with the
intention that in due course the undertakings of the charity would be transferred to Moor
House. This was achieved on 1 March 2026 when all of the charitys undertakings, including its
assets and liabilitie5, were transferred to Moor House as a going concern. The charity ran a day
and residential co-educational Non-maintained Special School within the meaning of the
Education Act 1996 and welcomed students aged seven to nineteen from all backgrounds with
language disorders, including those with severe Developmental Language Di50rder. since 1
March 2026 Moor House has continued the charity5 activities in exactly the same way as
before. A fuller understanding of the charitys activities may be obtained from the charitys
annual accounts. During the period 18 October 2024 to 31 August 2025 Moor House was
dormant with no artivities, assets or liabilities.

young people with special speech and language educational needs and assisting children and
young people with special speech and language educational needs to develop their speech,
language, communication and life skills, in particular, but not exclusively, by means of..

provision, and developing and sharing speech and language expertise;
undertaking research into language disorders and associated conditions
and publishing the useful results of the research,.
providing training, aids or resources in language disorders and associated
conditions.
