The Trustees present their annual report and financial statement of the charity
for the year ended 30th June 2025.
Structure, Governance and Management
The charity (the CIO) is registered with the Charity Commission as a Charitable
Incorporated Organisation and 15 run in accordance with the Constitution

adopted on 17 October 2024.
The CIO is led and managed by volunteer trustees. Currently there are 7
trustees.
The CIO was set up to replace an exIS￿ng charlty, also called Oswestry Talklng
News, registered under charlty number 511634 Ithe Old Charltyl. The Old
Cha rity Is run as an u nincorporated charlty and it was Identtfied by the trustees
of the Old Charity that the charlty Constitutton needed to be updated and
dlfferent form of charltable structure was needed In order to future proof the
organisation and attract future trustees.
The CIO (charity number 1210521) was set up as a charitable incorporated
organisatr'on and registered with the Charity Commission but remained inactr've
from inception on 17, October 2024 to 30111 June 2025. On I" July 2025 the
assets and liabilities of the Old Charity will be transferred to the CIO and the
Old Charity removed from the Charity Commission register.
Accounts for the Old Charity have been filed with the Charity Commission up to
30th June 2025. There was no income or expenditure, assets or liabilities of the
CIO for the year ended 30th June 2025
The trustees of the CIO and the Old Charity are the same.
