## Activities

**Objects:** 3.1 The object of the CIO is to advance the education of children and young people including (but not limited to) in relation to Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education. Such children and young people shall include in particular (but shall not be limited to):(a) those aged 7 to 19 years (inclusive) old;(b) residing in the South of England; and/or(c) enrolled at UTC Portsmouth or any academy which is part of Wessex Technical Education Trust (as defined in clause 29).

**Activities:** We will make grants which serve to advance STEM education to educational establishments whose pupils are aged 7 to 19 years and reside in the South of England. This includes any academy which is part of Wessex Technical Education Trust. We will also make grants to young people enrolled in such establishments. The grant making process is expected to commence during the academic year 25/26
