The objective of Help2Survive Limited has been to promote education, community wellbeing, and support for underprivileged communities. Over recent years, the organisation has expanded its focus to address wider social and economic challenges affecting vulnerable individuals and families overseas. The overall strategy continues to support the betterment of society through sustainable and community-led initiatives.
Help2Survive Limited has developed its core values around improving awareness and accessibility to education, skills development, and empowerment opportunities. The organisation believes that support should not be limited solely to academic achievement, but should also include practical experience, confidence building, employability skills, and social engagement opportunities that enable individuals to improve their quality of life and future prospects.
Sri Lanka remains one of the main countries supported by the organisation. The country continues to experience significant economic and social challenges arising from the long civil conflict, political instability, and the wider global economic downturn. These factors have resulted in setbacks to education, infrastructure, employment opportunities, and community development. Consequently, some planned projects experienced delays or operational difficulties. Despite these challenges, the need for support has become increasingly health, environmental sustainability, transport, and housing support.
During the year, the organisation also continued to explore and support environmental sustainability initiatives, including the development of vermicompost projects aimed at promoting sustainable agriculture, environmental awareness, and small-scale livelihood opportunities within local communities. These projects were designed to encourage practical education, community participation, and environmentally responsible practices.
In addition, Help2Survive Limited supported community and heritage-based initiatives, including assistance towards temple renovation and improvement projects intended to preserve community facilities and maintain important cultural and social gathering spaces for local residents.
The trustees recognise that future activities and expansion plans will require increased financial support. Accordingly, the organisation is developing new fundraising strategies, strengthening digital engagement, and
