## **2. STRUCTURE, GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT** 

The Nakos Foundation is a charitable incorporated organisation (CIO) governed by its constitution, which sets out the objects and rules under which the charity operates. 

The charity is administered by its board of trustees: Julius Reynolds, Irmina Trynkos, and Tomasz Lis. No remuneration was paid to any trustee during the period. No new trustees were appointed during the period beyond the founding trustees named above. 

The trustees are collectively responsible for the strategic direction, governance and financial oversight of the charity. No employees were engaged during the period. 

## **3. OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES** 

The charitable objects of the Nakos Foundation, as set out in its governing document, encompass general charitable purposes and the advancement of arts, culture, heritage and science for the benefit of the general public throughout England. 

In carrying out its activities, the trustees have had regard to the Charity Commission's guidance on public benefit. 

## **4. ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE** 

The charity was registered during the accounting period covered by this report. The trustees are pleased to have established the legal and governance framework necessary to carry out the charity's objects. 

No charitable activities were undertaken during this initial period. The trustees are in the process of planning the charity's programme of activities, which will be reported in subsequent annual reports. 



## **5. FINANCIAL REVIEW** 

The charity received no income and incurred no expenditure during the period from registration to 25 September 2025. No bank account was operated during this period. The financial position of the charity at the period end was nil. 

## **Reserves policy:** 

The trustees have not yet adopted a formal reserves policy. This will be established once the charity commences its charitable activities. 

## **6. PLANS FOR FUTURE PERIODS** 

The trustees intend to develop and commence the charity's programme of activities in the forthcoming period, in furtherance of its objects. Further details will be provided in subsequent annual reports.
