**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC, SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES (ACCORDING TO THE LAW OF ENGLAND AND WALES) AS THE CHARITY TRUSTEES FROM TIME TO TIME SEE FIT, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT LIMITED TO WITHIN THE AREAS OF BENEFIT:(A) THE RELIEF OF THOSE IN NEED BY REASON OF YOUTH, AGE, ILL-HEALTH, DISABILITY, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR OTHER DISADVANTAGE; (B) THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION; AND(C) THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH.IN THIS CLAUSE 'AREAS OF BENEFIT' INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:(A) SWANSEA AND THE SURROUNDING AREA; AND(B) COUNTRIES AND REGIONS IN THE DEVELOPING WORLD.

**Activities:** Two thirds of our funding goes to organisations and churches in Swansea helping disadvantaged people get better chances in life.  The other third is for similar work overseas, mainly in Africa.
