The principal address of Pakistan Muslim Burial is 200 Cheshire Road , Smethwick , B67 6DJ ## **The Objectives of Pakistan Muslim Burial** The advancement of the Islamic faith in the Birmingham West Midlands Area and such other parts of the UK as the trustees shall determine by providing financial assistance to members of the Muslim community to enable them to assist in the burial of deceased family members in accordance with the Muslim faith and the provision of information and support to such persons ## **Trustees** The Trustees at the end of the year were :- Mr Qasim Alyas Mr Shakil Mahmood Mr Khaleeq Ul-Haq ## **Recruitment and Appointment of Trustees** The charity is governed by a board of trustees drawn from the local community. This is to ensure that the board has the skills and experience required to oversee the management of the charity and its operations. The charity trustees are responsible for the general control and management of the charity. The trustees give their time freely and receive no remuneration or other financial benefits. ## **Trustee Induction and Training** All new trustees receive a planned induction programme before taking up their place on the board. This includes an explanation of their roles and responsibilities, an introduction to other trustees, an overview of recent activities and an explanation of board format and process. ## **Risk management** The trustees have a risk management strategy which includes an annual review of the risks the charity faces and the establishment of systems and procedures to mitigate those risks and implementation of procedures designed to minimise any potential impact on charity should those risks materialise. ## **Reserves Policy** The trustees aim to ensure that sufficient funds are maintained to enable the charity to carry out its activities. ## **Review of activities for the year** Pakistan Muslim Burial achieved a gain of £82,644/- for the period ended 30.09.2025 . The detailed results are set out on pages 3 to 6. By order of the Trustees Mr Qasim Alyas Chairman 07-Jul-26 1 ## **Pakistan Muslim Burial Independent Examiner's Report to the Trustees of Pakistan Muslim Burial** I report on the accounts of Pakistan Muslim Burial for the period ended 30.09.2025, which are set out on pages 3 to 6. ## **Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner** The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts.The charity's trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 144(2) of the Charities Act 2011 (the 2011 Act) and that an independent examination is needed. It is my responsibility to : examine the accounts under section 145 of the 2011 Act; to follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the 2011 Act; and to state whether particular matters have come to my attention. ## **Independent examiner's statement** In connection with my examination, no matter has come to my attention: i) which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect the requirements : to keep accounting records in accordance with section 130 of the 2011 Act; and to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records and comply with the accounting requirements of the 2011 Act, have not been met; or ii) to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
