running extra-curricular band clubs and
workshops in secondary schools in Camden
and running Open Mic and showcase events
for performers aged 11-18 at professional
venues in Camden. It also commissioned the
Apex Project to deliver a 10-week music
production and recording course for 14-18
year olds. We ran several roundtables for
the children to discuss how they would like
INTRA to support their music/bands.
In addition, INTRA supported schools by
repairing their instruments (predominantly
guitars) so that students could use these in
lessons, and at school band clubs (ours and
others).
These activities helped children to develop
their musical skills both individually and in a
group, including choosing a repertoire,
performing live and writing original music.

confidence, skills in working and rehearsing
with their band mates, and gave them| |||experience working in a professional
environment and dealing with industry
professionals such as sound engineers and

Mics or Showcases at professional venues
and a music stage at a secondary school
community fair. 91 children performed at our
events, some of them for the first time
anywhere and many of them for the first time
outside of a school event.
We ran weekly band clubs at 2 schools in
Camden (one starting in the Autumn term
and the other in the Spring term) and
delivered workshops at a further 2 schools
reaching 55 children in addition to those that
performed.
We repaired over 70 instruments across 4
schools.
We also developed the community around
live music in Camden, with over 2000 people
