Annual Report – as of 31 July 2025

1. The Friends of St Mary Magdalene Church, Ickleton (the Friends) is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation.

2. The charity registration number is 1210365

3. The objects of the Friends are to support the preservation, repair, maintenance, restoration and improvement of the church building and facilities of St Mary Magdalene Church, Ickleton in the county of Cambridgeshire, for the benefit of the general public

4. The Trustees of the Friends during the year were:

Peter Bricknell – Chairman Frances Payne – Treasurer Linda O’Sullivan – Secretary Jennifer Duke Rachel Radford John Taylor

1. The Friends has raised funds for the church of St Mary Magdalene via events and donations. It has also supported the church in its efforts to raise funds for the repair and restoration of the building and in particular the medieval wall paintings.

2. The Friends has no ongoing financial outlay or obligations other than to donate funds to the church of St Mary Magdalene. In view of this it’s policy is to retain a small cash reserve of £200 and remit amounts over and above this to the church;

3. i) after each fundraising event, or

ii) when the cash in bank amount exceeds £700.

1. In the year to 31 July 2025 the Friends donated £560 to the church of St Mary Magdalene and held £585 in its bank account.
