Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document
To advance the Christian faith for the benefit of the public in accordance with our statement of beliefs, in England or any such other parts of the world as the trustees may from time to time think fit by teaching, encouraging and supporting Christian people through the holding of prayer meetings, lectures, conferences, producing and/or distributing literature and other media to enlighten others about the Christian faith.

The principal event of the year is an annual Conference for people to explore more about the Christian faith.This involves worship, teaching, times of prayer and is both encouraging and supportive of those on their faith journey.
We, as Trustees of Rise Up UK hereby declare and confirm that we are aware of the legal requirement under the Charities Act 2011 to have regard to the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit (including guidance PB1, PB2, and PB3) when exercising any powers or duties to which that guidance is relevant, and that we have and will continue to act in accordance with said guidance in all key decisions.

Section D Achievements and performance
Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year
The annual Conference took place in March at Highgate House Hotel in Northamptonshire. The event was fully booked, with 80 delegates attending, and was considered a great success. The same venue has been booked for our 2026 Conference. During the year, we also gathered materials—including photographs and written content—to support the development of our new website. This will enable us to increase our visibility, streamline bookings and payments, and better communicate our work. In June 2025, the wider team, including Trustees and Leaders, met in person for a team-building day. The event was greatly enjoyed as we strengthened our existing relationships and looked ahead.

The charity does not have employees, premises or on-going outgoings to Brief statement of the consider but trustees are mindful when entering in to contracts of the charity’s policy on reserves financial implications and the level of reserves at any one time reflect any current obligations.

The Charity’s income has come very largely from delegate fees to the annual Conference including some donations towards subsidised places to enable us to make the event as accessible as possible.
In addition to this donations received at the close of the event were used to cover event expenses, and to pay the deposit on the following year’s booking.
We have registered for Gift Aid but did not make a claim in this period.
