Governing document

The Reading Reform Foundation is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO), registered with the Charity Commission on 4[th] October 2024. It is governed by its constitution, which sets out the charity’s purposes and the arrangements for its administration. Trustees are appointed in accordance with the constitution by the existing trustee body. The trustees meet regularly to oversee the charity’s work.

Management

The trustees are responsible for all decisions. The charity has no paid staff; all work is carried out voluntarily by trustees and supporters.

The RRF received no funds over the period and had only a few expenses, as in the accounts submitted to the Charity Commission.

The principal income during the year was a donation of £5,329.24 transferred into the new CAF bank account in January 2025. This represented funds previously held temporarily in trust by the Chair while the charity waited for charitable status and the opening of a suitable charity bank account.

Expenditure was minimal and related primarily to website hosting, administrative costs, and essential operational expenses.
