Nicholas Rlchley. Francis Rlchley and Arpana Paterson were appointed tor a period of four years. all other Trustees for 8 period of three years. Apart ftom the first charitytrustses. everytrustee must be appointed for a term of three years. by a resolution passed at a properly convened meeting of the chartty trustees. Achievements and Performanco During the first six months, the charrty ¢on¢entrate(J on laying its foundations by setting up governance structures. initiating its inaugural fundraising campaign, and forging partnerships with local organisations. Most importantly. we were able to fund therapeutic support for our first wave of children. al GO￿rnanCe Trustee's meetings are held eveTy 6-8 weeks. and inttial meetings enabled the chartty to outline its mission and goaLs and form its inttial policies and procedures. b} Fundraising and Fundraising Strategy Planningtowards the inauguralfundraising eventatthe ICCWales has been a majorfocus-the event is to be held in May 2025. Sponsorship forthis event is being found locally so that all ticket 88les will go directly to the objectives of the charity. Signature fundraising events include The Three Peaks Challenge (April 20251 an(J a Kilimanjaro Climb (June 20251- these events have also been part of the trustee's discussion. Individuals taking part in these events are entirely self-funded. ensuringthat all monies raise(J go (Jirectly to the charity object¢ves. Regular donations will be the main means of day-to-day support for the charity as will one-off donations. JustGiving pages and a PayPal account have been set upforthis purpose. I Partnci3hip¥ Partnerships have been agreed wtlh the following ooanisations: Movethe Mind CIO (Hoare's Lane. Frome}who prowde animaltherapyfor children with severe disabilities. Initial weeklytherapeutic sessions for two children have been supported financially. Urban Pursuit (Avon Quay House. Bristol) who are aligned wtth the charity in mission and purpose and their heart is to help children who are at risk of exclusion. hidden disabilities. inabilty to acces8 the curriculum. We have agreed to pilot a programme of

supportfor children atwinterbourne Academy. Bristol (high risk children identified by the school). Leaf Trust Brtstol- meetings with the Executive Team have taken place to establish collaboration and support opportunities for 2025. Several other partnership opportunities are beingestablished and will b8 reported in the nextTAR. d) Support We are delighted to have supported our first number of disathantsged children in the early days of establishingthe Foundation. Impact statements 8nd feedb8¢k from partners, care professionals. fami￿eS and children. where appropriate. is shared with Trustee$. 4. FinanCIal￿VIeW At the end of this financial period. monies heid in the bank amountsd to £38.434.12. Revenue 15 made up of individual donations and fundraising activities including sponsorship for the planned events. Operational costs are minimal and have been funded through re*ricted funds. given specificallyfor this purpose. ensuringthat au donations received go directlyto supporting children. The most significant outlay is forthe launch event {16 May 2025} which is to he hosted at the ICC Wales. All costs reLatinE to the eventwill be covered by 3 event sponsors 8n(f ticket sales, ensuring the charity does not incur costs and all remaining proceeds go directlyto our charitable cause. 	I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 05/04/2020. As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.

Independent I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have examiner's statement come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:

• the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act; or

• the accounts did not accord with the accounting records; or

• the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a ‘true and fair’ view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination.

I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
