**Objects:** THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS:FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, TO ADVANCE PUBLIC EDUCATION IN, AND APPRECIATION OF, THE LITERARY ARTS; IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, BY PROVIDING WORKSHOPS AND ACCESSIBLE POETRY EVENTS FOR PEOPLE LIVING OR WORKING IN THE TEES VALLEY.

**Activities:** We support women in Teesside to gain skills, confidence and wellbeing through writing and performing poetry. Our activities include accessible workshops and open mic events, some of which are women-centred and some open to all. We deliver commissioned projects in the community, and support the professional development of women poets through internal mentoring schemes and residencies.
