Barclays Bank PLC THE BRADBURY FOUNDATION UNAUDITED ACCOUNTS Trustees Re ort: Objectives and Activities The Foundation's primary purpose is lo provide financial sUPPOrt through grants to charities, ¢ommunity groups and not-for-profit organisalions within 25 miles of its offices. 11 supports projects that address povety, education, health and well-being, culture and heritage, protection of the environment and the needs of vulnerable groups. Publlc Benefit: The Foundation ensures that all grants awarded further its charitable purposes and deliver measurable benefit to communities across Lincolnshire and the East Riding of Yorkshire, in line with Charity Commission guidanTr. Achievements and Performance In its first year the Foundation launched successfully with strong fundraising, including a golf day that raised over £6,500. Grants have since been awarded to a range of local initiatives supporting education, health, arts and community well-being. Partnerships, such as being chosen as Charity of the Year by a regional business, have further enhanced the Foundation's ability lo make a positive difference. Financial Overvlew A surplus of £8,935 has been generated in the year. Reserves of at least three month's fixed expenditure are held lo cover any unforeseen costs. Current reserves of £8.935 are currently held, which exceeds the policy. Structure, Govemance and Management The charity was registered as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation on 23 September 2024 and is governed by its constitution. It is managed by a board of Iruslees who meet regularly to oversee aclivilies, ensure compliance with charity law and set the strategic direction of the charity. Day-lo-day administration is carried out collectively by the trustees, with decisions made al meetings or by written resolution as appropriate. Method to Recruit Trustees Trustees, apart from the founding trustees, are appointed for a one-year term by resolution at a properly convened meeting. Appointments lake into account the skills, knowledge and experience needed for the effective running of the charity. New trustees musl be eligible under charity law, accept their appointment formally and are provided with a copy of the constitution and latest annual report and accounts. Retiring trustees are eligible for reappointment.
