In its first 9 months K9 Search and Rescue recruited a team of volunteers and set about training the first intake of search dogs. The team are non-operational at this time (due to ongoing training and development). The team have developed connections with the National Trust, and an Outdoor centre who have permitted training on their land. Representatives of the team attended a local Radio Club and gave a talk. |
