## **Objects** 

The Objects of Tobacco Free Portfolios UK are to prevent and control Tobacco-related Diseases and support work to treat and prevent Tobacco-related Diseases in the UK to achieve a society free of Tobacco-related Diseases. Without limitation, Tobacco Free Portfolios UK may: 

- Provide or disseminate education and support to the UK community, including people with Tobaccorelated Diseases. 

- 

   - Provide or disseminate education, advice and information to government, business and health sector leaders in relation to Tobacco-related Diseases. 

- Establish effective collaborations between government, business and health leaders to educate and influence initiatives in relation to Tobacco-related Diseases. 

- 

   - Raise public awareness about and community involvement in relation to Tobacco-related Diseases. 

- Provide effective advocacy on Tobacco-related Diseases within Government, business and health leaders. 

- 

- 

   - Support other health promotion charities, hospitals, medical research institutes and research general in respect of Tobacco-related Diseases. 

   - Collaborate with other organisations to create a tobacco free future; and 

- Do all such lawful things, consistent with these Objects, necessary or desirable to support and further these Objects. 

## **Strategy for Achieving the Objects** 

Tobacco Free Portfolios UK may pursue the Objects by: 

- Raising money to further the Objects and to secure sufficient funds for the pursuit of the Objects; and 

- 

- Receiving any funds and applying those funds in a manner that best attains the Object.

## **Mission** 

The Mission of Tobacco Free Portfolios UK is to inform, prioritise and advance tobacco-free finance. There has been no change in the nature of the mission during the reporting period. 

## **Summary of Activities** 

During the Reporting Period of 20 September 2024 to 30 June 2025 The Trustees concentrated on strengthening the composition of the Board, generating fundraising strategies, cultivating new relationships, re-engaging with previous contacts, and enhancing awareness of Tobacco Free Portfolios UK. The activity undertaken incurred no financial cost. 

## **Changes in the State of Affairs** 

There were no changes, attributable to the organisation’s early stage of development. Tobacco Free Portfolios UK was accepted as a charity and entered onto the Register of Charities by the UK Charity Commission On 20 September 2024.

We consider there to be no matters or circumstances that have arisen since the end of the Financial Year which significantly affected or may significantly affect the operations of Tobacco Free Portfolios UK, the results of those operations, or the situation of Tobacco Free Portfolios UK in subsequent financial years.

Tobacco Free Portfolios UK anticipates securing additional funding and accelerating its strategic momentum in forthcoming financial years.

The trustees declare that they have approved this Trustees’ Annual Report, which is prepared in accordance with the Charities Act 2011 and the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008. 

The trustees are responsible for ensuring that the charity is administered in accordance with its governing document, relevant legislation, and good practice. The report is consistent with the financial statements and includes a fair review of the charity’s progress, achievements, risks, and future plans during the year.
