Text: Trustees are appointed in accordance with the provisions of the governing document. New trustees may be nominated by existing board members and are appointed following approval at a trustee meeting. All trustees are provided with an induction to ensure they understand their legal duties, the charity’s activities, and its policies.

State the charity’s aims and the activities carried out to meet those aims.
Text: The charity’s aims are to promote participation in sport and physical activity among children, young people, and people with disabilities, with the goal of improving health, confidence, social inclusion, and overall wellbeing. The charity seeks to remove barriers to participation and create accessible sporting opportunities for all members of the community.

During the year, the charity was unable to commence its planned sporting programmes and community activities. This was due to delays in the handover of the facility that the charity will be operating from. As a result, no direct service delivery, projects, or sporting sessions were able to begin during this period.

Text: Once the facility is formally handed over, the charity plans to begin delivering its full programme of inclusive sporting activities for children, young people, and people with disabilities. The initial focus will be on establishing a safe, accessible, and welcoming environment, ensuring that the facility is fully equipped and compliant with all operational, safeguarding, and accessibility requirements.
