## **Structure, Governance and Management** 

Compassion in Heart Foundation is governed by its constitution and managed by a board of trustees. Trustees are appointed in accordance with the charity’s governing document and are responsible for strategic direction and oversight. 

## **Objectives and Activities** 

The charity’s objectives are to relieve poverty, advance education, and promote social inclusion for the public benefit by providing education, vocational training, and community engagement opportunities amongst refugees and asylum seekers, as well as supporting people new to the UK. Though the charity has not yet started operational activities, the trustees have developed a plan for the coming year, including: 

- Distributing food parcels to vulnerable individuals and families. 

- Launching a digital skills training programme to support asylum seekers and new arrivals. 

- Initiating fundraising activities to support these objectives. 

## **Achievements and Performance** 

During the reporting period, the charity did not carry out any charitable activities as preparations were underway for future operations. Key achievements include: 

- Developing detailed activity plans. 

- Establishing partnerships with local community organisations. 

- Laying groundwork for upcoming fundraising and service delivery. 

## **Financial Review** 

As the charity has not yet operated, there has been no income or expenditure during this reporting period. The cash balance at the year-end is £0. The trustees have opened a charity bank account in preparation for future transactions. 

## **Reserves Policy** 

The charity’s reserves policy is to maintain a prudent level of unrestricted funds to ensure ongoing viability once activities commence. The policy will be reviewed annually. 

## **Principal Funding Sources** 

The charity plans to seek funding from individual donations, grant-making bodies, and local fundraising events in the next financial year.

The charity’s main priorities for the next year are:
