Activities

The Village Hall hosts a wide variety of events and activities for the health and wellbeing of our community and visitors. Activities include badminton, drama, short mat bowls, snooker and fitness classes for all abilities. The main hall is available for hire by residents, local charities, organisations and St Nics School. It is also the Cornwall Community Resilience Network Building in this area.

Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are To Run A Village Hall And To Provide For The Benefit Of The Residents Of Downderry And Seaton, The Surrounding Area And The Public At Large, Without Distinction Of Sex, Sexual Orientation, Age, Disability, Nationality, Race Or Political, Religious Or Other Opinions, The Provision Of Facilities For Recreation Or Other Leisure Time Occupation Of Individuals Who Have Need Of Such Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare And With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Residents.
