## **Structure, governance and management**
The charity is an unincorporated association governed by the Charity Commission Model Constitution (adopted 18[th] September 2024). The trustees are responsible for the strategic direction and financial management of the charity.
## **Objects**
The charity’s objects are the advancement of the Christian faith for the benefit of the public in Bridgwater, Somerset and throughout England & Wales by providing facilities for worship and prayer, religious education, producing and/or distributing Christian literature, Christian fellowship, outreach and pastoral care.
## **Achievements and performance**
During the year the charity continued to advance the Christian faith through:
- 64 regular meetings and a well-attended public convention (14–15 December 2024, Hill House Christian Centre, ~150 attendees).
- Financial support for mission work in Bulgaria and other countries.
- Support for outreach by an independent church in Poland.
- Fortnightly youth meetings to help young people learn about the Christian faith.
All activities were consistent with the charity’s objects and delivered public benefit.
## **Financial review**
Gross income for the year: **£53,781.43**
Total expenditure: **£52,051.83**
The accounts have been prepared on the Receipts and Payments basis. The trustees consider the financial position to be satisfactory.
It should be noted that during the year the charity paid costs relating to building works which were largely reimbursed by the landlord. These transactions are shown separately in the respective Receipts and Payments sections (i.e. not netted off)

**Plans for future periods** The trustees will continue to focus on local church meetings as the core activity, supported by outreach, foreign missions, and expanded work with young people and children.
**Independent examiner** The accounts have been independently examined by Blessing Mutsambi in accordance with the Charity Commission’s Directions.

Report to the trustees of Bridgwater Bibleway Believers.
I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity for the year ended 31 May 2025.
## **Responsibilities and Basis of Report:**
As the charity trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011. I report in respect of my examination of the trustees’ accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
## **Independent Examiner's Statement:**
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:
- Accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Act.
- The accounts do not accord with the accounting records.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
