Review of the

The charity was only sot up in pi&paration for the launch of thè PTA commencing 1 April 2026. Therefore no
items are to be rerKJrted during this period of time.
Trustees have already established links wrth companies and individuals in the local area. The Charity 1$
expecting donations from these in the coming Finan￿81 Year.
Reserves P&ic
The trustees policy is to aim to retain lirnited reserves, as the Charity doe5 not employ anyone or have ovetheads
ASPTA has no long terrn investments. Any balances will be held in one savings account

ASPTA is a CIO- FOUNDATION Règistered 16 Sep 2024. The registered office 15 Rou9hwood Drive,
Kirkby, LNerpool, L33 8XF.
The charity constitutes a public benefrt 8s defined by FRS 102. The financial statements have been
preparert In accordance with Accounting and Reporting by Charities". Statement of Recommended
Practice applicable to charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting
Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland issued on October 2019. the Finanaal Reporting
Standard applicable in the UK and R8public of Ireland {FRS 1021. the Charities Act 2011 and Ihe UK
Generally Accepted Accounting Practice.
The financial statemènts are prepared on a going concem basis under the historical cost conv8ntion.
The financial statements ale presented in sterling which is the functional currency of the charity.
The significant accounting poliaes applied in Ihe preparation of these finanaal statements are set OLrt
bel¢)w. These policies have been consistently applied lo all years prèsented unless othwise staled.
Judgements and key sources of estimation uncertalnty
In the application of the companies accounlirYJ policies, the trustee5 are required to make judgernent,
estimates and assumptions about the CArrying arnovnt of assets and Irabililies that are not ￿adIlY
apparent from other sources. The eslirnates and assoaated assumptions are based on historical
experience and other laGtors that are to be tx)nsidered relevant. Actual results May differ from th6$e
estimates.
The estimates and underfying assumptions are reviewed on a regular basis. Revisions to accountin9
estimates a18 recognised in the period in which the estirnate is revised where the revision affects on
that period. or the pèriod of ihe revision and fulure periods where the revision affects both current and
future peiiod5.

The following judgernenls (apart from these involving estimates) have had Ihe most significant effect on
amounts recogni5ed in the financial statements.
Dèpreciation
Vlhilst the charity does not hold onto any 88sets. should this arise in the future the directors will review
depreaali(x) rates and useful lives of tangible assets on an annual basis to ensure th8 effects of usage,
wear 8fKI tear. or technological obsolescence 8re reflected in the carrying value of the asset.
Impairnient
Again, not holding assets, shoLJld this arise in the future the directors %MII review fixed 8s8els for
impairment in conjunction with review of depreciation above. The charty has policies in place to review
assets on an ongoing basis.
Going Concern
These financial statements are prepared on the going concern b8$is. The tnjstees have a reasonable
OXP8Ctalion that the oharily will continue in operat￿nal existenc£ for the foreseeable future.

The trustees h8ve consKlered the level of cash, current assets held and the expected level of income
and expenditure from 12 months from aulhorising these financial s18temenls and ieinfoice decision

The trusteès consider that the charity's main adivitles ar8 und8fpinned adeqLJately by donations and
income frorn ch8rit8ble activities. After careful consideration and evaluation of current management
inlormation and forecasts they ￿ntInUe to adopt the going concern basis of preparation.

Basis of allocation of expenses

what they considèr to be fair proportions to each category, generally based on time spent. Costs
