Activities

We partner with animal shelters in Tangier, Morocco to provide support for the care and treatment of street animals. We also work with local Tangier veterinarians on the care and well-being of the animals through neutering, vaccinations and tagging to highlight the fact that they are healthy and rabies-free. We provide opportunities for UK volunteers to visit Tangier and work with rescue animals.

Objects: The Objects Of The Charity (‘The Objects’) Are:to Work For The Benefit Of The Public To Relieve The Suffering Of Animals In Need Of Care And Attention In Tangier By:-1.Working With Local People To Promote The Care And Well-Being Of Street Animals;2.providing Support, Through Funding A Refuge And Facilities For The Reception, Care And Treatment Of The Street Animals;3.encouraging And Assisting Local People To Meet And Maintain Standards Required To Keep Animals Safe And In Good Health;4.disseminating Information And Education Materials To Promote The Welfare Of Animals;5.working With Local Veterinarians On The Care And Well-Being Of The Animals Through Neutering, Vaccinations And Tagging Of These Animals To Highlight The Fact That They Are Healthy And Rabies-Free;6.encouraging Education In The Safeguarding Of Street Animals And The Eradication Of Rabies.[nothing In This Deed Shall Authorise An Application Of The Property Of The Charity For Purposes Which Are Not Charitable In Accordance With Section 7 Of The Charities And Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 And/or Section 2 Of The Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008.]
