The promotion of communty participation in healthy recreation for the
benefft of the inhabitants ofthe Royal Borough of Kingston Upon Thames
by the provision of facilth'es for plawng lawn bowls.
Summary of the objects of the
charity set out in its
governing document

During 2025 the Club continued to work very hard in spreading the
benefits of playing bowls by holding two Taster Days. securing a small
feature in a local newspaper and participation in a council organised
sports event. These activities resulted in increased membership to a
healthy level.
During the closed season members organised fundraising events both in
the Clubhouse and extemal venues. This both raised essential funds and
proved popular with members and kept members together during the
winter.
The Club continued to support a lo￿1 mentsl health charty by providing
a weekly bowls session for Members of the Chaiity. The Club provides
equipment and personnel to aid the participants and have been doing so
for the last seven years. Each session is supervised by a qualified leader.
The Club ran the annual intemal competitions. three weekly informal
competition sessions and entered a team in a local league. All events
are open to all members regardless of ability, age and experience.
Although the Club made a small financial loss this was largely due to
some one off payments.
In 2026 the Club will focus on its objective. The Trustees will continue
when making decisions have the Club's best interests in mind with regard
to the commission's public benefft guidance.

Increased membership by 20% to which the Club rose to the challenge of
integrating new members. In tum this increased revenue.

Now able to provide refreshments which helFRd wrth funds.
Participated in council sports event which helped raise the profile of the
Club.
