Activities
We are an American Football team for young people between the ages of 15 and 18 years. The purpose of the club is to bring young people together to learn and play American Football. In doing this they would learn self discipline, find a positive outlet for aggression and break down territorial barriers which contribute to youth violence.
Objects: The Object Of The CIO Is To Advance The Physical Education And To Advance In Life Children Aged 15 To 19 By Providing Facilities For Playing American Football, In Particular By The Provision Of Organised American Football Training, Fitness And Teamwork Sessions And Games And Tuition The Game Of American Football To Help Develop Their Skills, Capacities And Capabilities To Enable Them To Participate In Society As Independent, Mature And Responsible Individuals.nothing In This Constitution Shall Authorise An Application Of The Property Of The CIO For The Purposes Which Are Not Charitable In Accordance With [section 7 Of The Charities And Trustee Investment (scotland) Act 2005] And [section 2 Of The Charities Act (northern Ireland) 2008].
