Achievements and Perfomiance
Income
Donations of £6.618 received through
mailings social media pages. Of this,
£986 were on monthly standing order.
The trustees are actively looking to
increase the donations on monthty standing
order for chihs sponsorship. but accept
that this is a slow process to find such
sponsors.
Gift Aid was reclaimed on all eligible
donations each month via the HMRC Gift
ANJ schemo. A t¢Xal of £734 was clairned
from HMRC.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR THIS REPORT
1. Trip to Uganda
In March 2025, Karen and Andrew Eustace visrted Smile Children's Charity Vlllage
for a whole week:
Attended the graduatlon ceremony of the 2024 skills training cours88 In
hairdressing. dressmaking and tailoring. driving, motor m8¢hanics.
Attended and judged ￿adIng competition and debate at the primary
school.
Attended football matches of the primary school with the school in
Wabwoto.
Delivered to the school 50 pairs of trainers, frisbees and rugby b8lls
donated by Sportsbug in Melksham. Wiltshire, food and chiklren's
reading books donated by a famity in Gillingham, 10 footballs donated
by the trustees, and 3 laptops donated by Projects Delivering Hope.
DelNered a business training course to the skills training graduates and
teachers at the primary school.
Delivered a training session on the launch of a Savings and Credlt
Cooperative Organisation at Kitimbwa.
Dtstributed maize flour, sugar and soap to around 30 widows and
grandmothers at Kawolokots Mothers, Union.
2. The futurn
The trustees are working activety to spread the word about our Wofk and to widen
the scope of our ￿aCh. This is a slow process that takes time and patience, but each
donation receNed is so valuable because it was not available to Smile Children's
Charity Village before and it does so much good.
The trustees are committed to the vision of supporting the education of the refugee
orphans and those living in povety, as a way for these people to work themselves
and their communibes out of poverty.
