volunteers. Trustees met regularly to review governan￿, strategy and programme
development.

children and young people in England. India and Nepal through educational
support and grants to individuals, schools and other bodies.

trustees prioritised establishing govemance and operdtional foundations and
developing initial programme plans. Key adivities induded: draftlng cm polldes and
procedures; conducting due diligen(x on potential intemational partners and

assessing regulatory requirements (induding FCRA implicab'ons for India),.
expanding the planned geographical scope to indude England and Nepal to allow
earlier programme delivery: designing a Parents4chool Partnership Programme,.
and undertaking volunteer led fundraising and awareness actrvities.
4. Programme Devolopment
The Parents-school Partnership Programme was designed and inibal negotiations
commenced wilh a primary school in the Wolverhampton District to pilot the m(JJel in
two classes. The pilot remained in rwotiation during the reporting period. Meetings
have been held wlth the school govemors and the headteacher on an almost
monthly basis. Meetings with parents are planned to follow. Draft Memoranda of
Understanding and fomial agreements have been developed and are yet to be
finalised and signed.
5. Fundraising and Voluntary Support
Volunteer led fundraising indud8d participab'on in major running events: one
volunleer completed the London Marathon and three volunteers completed the
Bimiingham Half Marathon. These events raised fvnds and increased awareness. All
activity has been supported by volunteers: no trustees and volunteers received
remuneration.

10%. This policy reflects the charity's early stage of development and the absence of
long temi financial commitments beyond routine operating costs.
