In selecting individuals for appointment as Charity Trustees, the existing Trustees must have regard to the skills, knowledge and experience needed for the effective administration of the CIO.

TRUSTEES ANNUAL REPORT FOR THE YEAR ENDED

5 APRIL 2025 (continued)

Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit:

During the year, the Charity Trustees’ primary focus was on establishing a robust foundation for future operations, rather than immediate donation distribution. Activities centered around essential fact-finding and the development of a dedicated digital presence, including the creation of a new website, a secure donation platform, and brand identity. The costs reflected in the accounts were exclusively incurred for these foundational and developmental activities. As a charity currently run by limited volunteers with no employed staff, the Trustees plan to commence focused fundraising campaigns in early 2026, with the aim of beginning donations to beneficiaries later that year.

Trustees’ Declaration

The trustees declare that the above receipts and payments account and statement of assets and liabilities are true and complete to the best of their knowledge.

Signed on behalf of the trustees:

Trustee (Chair): MOHAMMED MUNEM
