## **Trustee Annual Report** 

## **Objectives and Activities** 

The charity exists to advance Orthodox Christianity in Middlesbrough and the wider Teesside area for the benefit of the public, in accordance with the doctrines and canons of the Orthodox Church. The charity carries out its purposes through regular public worship, celebrations of Orthodox Christian festivals, religious education and talks, missionary and outreach activities, pastoral care, and participation in interfaith engagement within the local community. 

## **Activities and Achievements** 

During the year, the charity continued to hold regular Sunday worship and services on Orthodox Christian feast days at the Church of St Columba, Wilson Street, Middlesbrough. The charity also provided pastoral care to Orthodox Christians in the area. 

## **Financial Review** 

The charity’s income for the year was under £10,000 and was derived from public donations. Expenditure related mainly to worship and liturgical costs, shared building and maintenance expenses, materials, and general administration. The trustees aim to maintain modest reserves sufficient to meet short-term running costs and to ensure continuity of worship, pastoral care, and community activities.
