## **Objectives and Activities** 

LAM RIM BUDDHIST CENTRE is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (“CIO”) registered in England and Wales. 

The charity’s objects are the advancement of the Buddhist religion, primarily Gelugpa Tibetan Buddhism, in alignment with the teachings of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. 

The Centre advances these objects through the provision of Buddhist teachings, day courses, and residential retreats. The charity also hosts teachings and events from other Buddhist lineages, religions, and worldviews, together with well-being courses compatible with Buddhist ethics. In addition, the Centre provides facilities for personal and group retreat. 

## **Activities During the Period** 

The charity remained dormant throughout the reporting period and no charitable activities were carried out. 

The charity remained dormant pending the transfer of assets and activities from the predecessor charity, Lam Rim Buddhist Centre (Charity Number 326675). Accordingly, the charity had no financial transactions or operational activity during the reporting period. 

The trustees are overseeing the transfer process with appropriate professional legal support to ensure that the transition is completed properly and in accordance with charity governance and regulatory requirements. 

The trustees expect the charity to commence full operational activity following completion of the transfer process. 

## **Financial Review** 

The charity received no income and incurred no expenditure during the reporting period. At 31 July 2025, the charity held no assets, liabilities, or funds.

## **1. Basis of Preparation** 

The accounts have been prepared on a receipts and payments basis in accordance with the Charities Act 2011 and the applicable regulations for Charitable Incorporated Organisations (CIOs).
