**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE:THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS TO SUPPORT THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE BUDDHIST RELIGION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC, PRIMARILY THE STUDY AND PRACTICE OF GELUGPA TIBETAN BUDDHISM IN HARMONY WITH THE TEACHINGS OF HIS HOLINESS 14TH DALAI LAMA, BY MEANS OF, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY:A) THE PROVISION OF BUDDHIST RELIGIOUS TEACHINGS, TALKS, SEMINARS, EVENTS, CONFERENCES, AND RETREATS IN THE GELUGPA TRADITION;B) PROVISION OF SPACE FOR TEACHINGS AND ACTIVITIES FROM OTHER BUDDHIST LINEAGES, OTHER RELIGIONS AND WORLDVIEWS, AND FOR SECULAR AND WELL-BEING COURSES THATARE COMPATIBLE WITH BUDDHIST ETHICS; ANDC) MAINTENANCE OF NECESSARY FACILITIES AND RESOURCES, INCLUDING BUILDINGS AND THEIR GROUNDS.

**Activities:** Advancement of the Buddhist religion, primarily Gelugpa Tibetan Buddhism, in alignment with the teachings of H.H. the 14th Dalai Lama. The Centre offers Buddhist teachings via day courses & residential retreats. It also hosts teachings from other Buddhist lineages, religions, worldviews, as well as well-being courses compatible with Buddhist ethics. It provides personal & group retreat facilities.
