To ensure the continuity of the charity’s general reserves, not designated for specific purposes, should be held at an estimated year of normal expenditure for the charity. The Church spent over £70,000 on the refurbishment of the Church manse. This expenditure was making good the property and has improved the valuation of the property. |

| Baptist Church are required to pay for the upkeep and maintenance of the building. The Church has financially supported the local Filipino Church which used the Church on Sunday afternoons. The support ceased in January 2025. |

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31 December 2025.

Responsibilities and As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation basis of report of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have examiner's statement come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:

Section A Receipts and payments
Note 1 Grants and donations payable
During the year, grants and donations totalling £200 were paid to one church within the Baptist Union (2024: £2,275 to five institutions). This support arrangement ceased during the year. Expenditure during the year was focused on essential repair work to the Church manse, which limited the funds available for further support.
