## **Structure, governance and management**
The FantasPc Foxwood PTA ConsPtuPon outlines why the AssociaPon exists and the responsibiliPes of the AssociaPon. It describes the roles, voPng rules and formal meePngs, including the process for keeping accounts, changing the consPtuPon and the process for dissolving the AssociaPon.
## **Objec+ves and ac+vi+es**
The objecPve of the charity is to enhance the experience of pupils at Foxwood School, Woolston. DonaPons are made to the school for various acPviPes that both teaching staff and the PTA members believe will be for benefit to the children. Examples of items the charity has contributed to include birthday cards for all pupils, buffet for the leavers party, medals for Santa Dash, contribuPon to the refurbishment of the Sensory Circuit, class trips, resources for hydrotherapy, books and equipment for classrooms.
Various events are held to raise money that is donated to the school. Examples of events include the Laser Show, clothes collecPons, Easter Fayre, and a sponsored ta[oo! We have also had donaPons and grants from companies and individuals. We are truly grateful for your generosity.

## **Financial Review**
The charity had a net income of £19,836.39 for the year, comprising of £28,374.52 gross income less £8,538.13 expenditure.
Funds of £13,842.40 were held at the year end ringfenced for the provision of an accessible playground (£10,750.00 in restricted funds, £3,092.40 in unrestricted).
Further restricted funds were held for Kelloggs Breakfast Fellowship (£673.84) and Warburton Community Fund Aqua-readers (£55.87)
The charity holds a minimum £2,000 for the planning and organisaPon of future fundraising events, and to cover any outstanding costs in the event of charity dissoluPon.
No further reserves have been designated.
The accounts have been presented on a cash basis with the excepPon of a £240 deposit for the 2025 Laser Show, which has been treated as a prepayment.

Firstly, I’d like to thank everyone, you have in some form played a part in making the PTA a success during the last year!
The object of the PTA is to enrich our children’s lives and we do this by organising fundraising events and acPviPes for the children both inside and outside the school. Making these as much fun as possible, to involve as many people as we can within the school community.
The PTA is run by a commi[ee that is elected each year at the AGM. The AGM meePng is the only formal meePng of the year for the PTA and deals with formaliPes of commi[ee
Before I launch the formaliPes, I’d like to acknowledge and thank our serving PTA commi[ee:

All Commi[ee members are automaPcally trustees. We are a registered charity and as such all trustees have a legal responsibility to act in our charity’s best interests, manage our resources responsibility and act with reasonable care and skill. Our consPtuPon sets out the rules for how we run the charity.
There are no resignaPons, which reinforces what an amazing team we have and through dedicaPon, hard work and commitment to the PTA, we conPnue to accomplish our goals. So, thank you as you all really do ‘make it happen’
On a personal note, I feel privileged to have been able to conPnue my role as Chair, to be part of an amazing school, with truly amazing children, parents and staff, helping the school to provide addiPonal resources for the children.
Thanks also goes to all the local businesses that have donated and supported us this past year and we hope to conPnue the relaPonships for many more to come!
To all the members of the PTA, who all lead very hecPc and busy lives, a big THANK YOU for all you do, be it a[end a meePng, buy a raffle Pcket, help set up an event or bring in grants, leads and new supporters. I appreciate each and every one of you.
Here's a summary of last year’s acPviPes:
For me, the highlight of the year, sepng aside grants and donaPons has to be the Laser Extravaganza - This was our first event and if it's anything to go by, we have some crackers ahead of us! It was amazing to see so many smiling faces, not only from the children but parents/carers too as well as people from the local community! It truly was amazing and I had to keep reminding myself that this was actually on our field as it felt so surreal filled with sounds of laughter, music and fair rides not to menPon the amount we raised that night!
The Ta[oo fundraiser that shall ever haunt me as I hear “is that an actual, permanent ta[oo like forever” and “what if they change the logo” Which Lucinda has reassured me, they aren’t…phew! I’d like to say it was the easiest £1k I’ve raised, however I would be lying. It hurt! Don’t ever say I’m not dedicated to the cause!
Selco Community Heroes 2024 was also a big highlight. I am surprised people didn't delete us all for constantly plugging for their daily vote, however it worked though didn't it! To be crowned winners from over 2,000 applicaPons up and down the country li[le us winning is a massive achievement. A[ending the conference, Laura and I built some relaPonships that will hopefully last for a long while and the children just blew them away, which we secretly knew they would! From me developing a lisp and crying like a baby on camera (I definitely have a face for radio!), to Laura turning into a Gallager brother whilst nearly refusing to film as she thought she would be stuck for words (you smashed it), Jenny making the Commercial Directors heart melt trying to make Harrison say ‘Selllllcooooo’ (Which he has now mastered, go get more money H!), to our faces when they pulled that sPcker off and revealed £10k. I'll relive that forever!
Dragging black bags of things to be recycled and then eagerly waiPng the amounts we raised each Pme as we held the eco-fundraisers which raised an amazing £560.80!
From all of our amazing fundraising we have been able to so far provide the school with £4,772.66 of resources including
17 class requests books/hydro toys and equipment New sensory circuit equipment Toast and snack items for every class Leavers T-shirts and hoodies Support for vulnerable families Santa Dash medals and refreshments Leavers buffet End of term ice cream treat for all pupils 14 classes to Chester Zoo Birthday cards for every pupil And much much more!
Of this amount, we have currently £13,842.40 in the Wheelchair Accessible Playground pot and have much more in the pipeline this year to hit the target and get the build booked in, watch this space!
I am massively proud of us and as I spend hours into the night doing applicaPons, paperwork and planning, I just remember all of those children smiling because of what we have achieved for them and I plough on loving every minute!
