## **Chair of Trustees’ Letter**

It is a privilege to present the first Annual Report of **Holos Foundation** , covering our founding year to 5th April 2025.

This initial year has been one of careful discernment and faithful groundwork. Rather than moving quickly into delivery, the Trustees focused on creating strong foundations—ensuring that governance, safeguarding, and strategy are robust, responsible, and guided by the values at the heart of Holos Foundation.

We believe that meaningful, lasting impact begins with making space: space to reflect, to listen, and to act with care rather than haste. In this spirit, we have sought wisdom in every decision, trusting that thoughtful preparation allows the work we do to be stronger, steadier, and rooted in hope.

Holos Foundation exists to support survivors of exploitation and trauma in ways that honour the dignity, worth, and potential of every person. Our work is guided by a belief in restoration, compassion, and wholeness—principles we hold as central to both human flourishing and our faith-led calling. The Rebuild Grant Programme, set to launch in the coming year, embodies this approach, offering flexible, personalised support that helps people rebuild their lives with confidence and care.

I am deeply grateful to my fellow Trustees for their wisdom, commitment, and shared heart for this work, and to our partners at Holos Kombucha, whose generosity has helped establish a sustainable model for the Foundation.

As we look ahead, we do so with hope and prayer, trusting that the steps we take now will bear fruit in the lives of those we serve. We are committed to walking alongside survivors with integrity, humility, and compassion, and to stewarding every resource faithfully.

Thank you for taking the time to engage with this report and for supporting Holos Foundation at this important early stage.

With gratitude and hope,

## **Grant-Making Policy – Rebuild Grant Programme**

The Rebuild Grant Programme was developed to provide flexible, personalised funding that addresses gaps in existing provision for survivors of exploitation and trauma. Grants are intended to support practical, therapeutic, or transitional needs that directly contribute to long-term wellbeing and independence.

No grants were awarded during the year as the programme was activated in October 2025. Grant-making activity will commence in the following financial year.

## **Financial Review**

The Trustees report that no income was received and no expenditure incurred during the year ended 31 December 2025. This reflects the Foundation’s focus on governance and programme design during its founding year.

The Trustees are satisfied that the charity remains well placed to commence fundraising and grant distribution in 2026.

## **Who We Are**

Holos Foundation exists to walk alongside survivors of exploitation and trauma as they rebuild their lives. The name ‘Holos’ comes from the Greek word meaning ‘whole’, reflecting our belief that restoration is relational, spiritual, emotional, and practical.

We operate alongside Holos Kombucha, a social enterprise providing paid employment pathways. The Foundation complements this by funding personalised support that strengthens each individual’s journey toward independence.
