STRUCTURE GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT

To facilitate the future of the Dover Lions Club this new Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) was registered on 20 August 2024, Dover District Lions Club (CIO).

The assets of Dover District Lions Club Charitable Trust Fund and Dover District Lions Club were transferred to the new organisation.

The Charity was constituted and is governed by the provisions of it's Constitution adopted on 20 August 2024, the date of registration.

The Trustees consist of 3 ex-officio Trustees being the President, Secretary and Treasurer from time to time and 3 nominated members of the Dover District Lions Club (CIO)

OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES

Dover Lions Club raises funds in order to make charitable grants both locally, Dover District Kent, nationally and internationally to individuals and organisations in accordance with the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit

ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE

Funds raised during the year and how these have been expended are shown in the attached Receipts and Payments Account. The major grants and donations are appended in a schedule also attached.

FINANCIAL REVIEW

The Charity maintains such reserves as are required to meet it's obligations. No minimum level of reserves has been set.

The trustees declare that they have approved the trustees’ report above Approved and signed on behalf of the Trustees
