There were no changes to the trustees during the reporting period.

Structure, governance and management

She Codes Too is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation whose only voting members are its charity trustees.

Trustees are appointed in accordance with the charity’s constitution. In selecting trustees, regard is given to the skills, knowledge and experience required to ensure the effective governance and administration of the charity.

The trustees met on a quarterly basis during the period. Meetings were held online. No subcommittees were established during the year, and all decisions were taken collectively by the board of trustees.

Objects and activities

The objects of the charity are, for the public benefit, to advance the education of women in Iraq and the United Kingdom in the field of technology, and to promote equality and diversity by increasing the representation of women in the technology sector.

During the reporting period, the charity focused on establishing and delivering different programmed activities in line with these objects.

Activities undertaken

During the period from 19 August 2024 to 5 April 2025, She Codes Too undertook the following charitable activities:

The charity’s beneficiaries were women based in Iraq and the UK who had an interest in developing skills and careers in technology.

Public benefit

The trustees have had due regard to the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit. They consider that the activities carried out during the period provided clear public benefit by improving access to technology education and professional development opportunities for women who are underrepresented in the technology sector.

The programmes delivered were accessible, free of charge, and directly aligned with the charity’s stated objects.

Financial review

During the reporting period, the charity received total income of £6,885 , which was derived entirely from donations.

Expenditure during the period related to the delivery and support of charitable activities and included costs such as travel, software and digital tools, and online subscriptions required to operate and deliver programmes.

The trustees are satisfied that the charity’s financial position at the end of the period was appropriate for an organisation in its early stages of operation.

Reserves policy

The charity did not hold significant reserves at the end of the reporting period. Due to the early stage of the charity’s development and the level of income received, the trustees have not yet adopted a formal reserves policy. This will be kept under review as the charity grows.

Risk management

The trustees have considered the major risks to which the charity may be exposed. Given the scale and nature of activities during the reporting period, no significant risks were identified. The trustees will continue to review risks on an ongoing basis as activities expand.

Plans for future periods

In the next financial period, the trustees intend to build on the foundations established during this reporting period by:
