ACTIVITIES AND ACHIEVEMENTS This is the first accounting period of the ChaTity. AJ) op¢n exhibition inviting people to discover Botany and Other Stories, Cabinet of Curiosities was held in March 2025 at H¢nalli House. Hay on Wye. The Trustees are delighted with the reswnse to the exhibition and are very enthusialic for the future.
BOTANY AND OTHER STORIES TRUSTEES, REPORT (¢ontiDued) for the period ending 31 March 2025 PUBLIC BENEFIT In planning the Charities activities for ihe period ended 31 March 2025 we kept in mind the Charity Commission's guidance on public benefit at our rtgular trustees, me¢tings (¢x¢cutive ¢ommit¢e¢). TRUSTEE POLICY There must be at least three charity truses. 8nd the maximum number is eleven. The conslituiion deals with the appoinlmeni of Trusiees. STATEMENT OF TRUSTEES, RESPONSIBILITIES The trustees are responsible for preparing the Trust¢es' Report and the finan¢ial ststcm¢nts in cordanCe with applicable law and United Kingdorn A¢counling Slards IUni*d Kingdom Generally Accepled Accouniing Practice). The law applicable to charilies in England and Wales requires the trustees to prepare financial statements for each financial year which give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the charity and of the iOmIng resources and application of resources of the charily for that period.
