## **B. Structure, Governance and Management** 

The Experience Bank is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO). Trustees are appointed under the terms of the constitution. No staff or volunteers were active during the year. 

## **C. Objectives and Activities** 

## **Charitable Objects** 

The objects for which the CIO is established are to provide relief amongst children and young people (up to the age of 25 years old) seeking asylum and those granted refugee status who have been the victim of human trafficking, modern slavery or exploitation, including unaccompanied asylum-seeking children (UASCs) who have been separated from their parents or carers. 

## **Activities in the Reporting Period** 

The Experience Bank had not begun delivering charitable activities during this financial year. The trustees focused on establishing governance, setting up operations, and early planning for services. 



## **D. Public Benefit Statement** 

The trustees confirm they have complied with their duty under section 17 of the Charities Act 2011 to have due regard to the Charity Commission’s public benefit guidance. 

Although the charity has not yet begun operating, the planned work will clearly provide public benefit through supporting highly vulnerable young people, through the provision of gifted experience donations. 

## **E. Achievements and Performance** 

No delivery activity or fundraising occurred during the year. 

Progress included governance preparation, initial service design, and planning partnership models.

## **G. Reserves Policy** 

As no funds were held, the charity currently has no reserves. A policy will be developed once income is received. 

## **H. Future Plans** 

Plans for the next year include: 

- Beginning outreach and support for young asylum seekers and refugees 

- Applying for grants and donations 

- Developing partnerships with support organisations 



- Recruiting volunteers and establishing safeguarding processes
