The Mariners are a group of parents, teachers and friends of St Clements School. We raise funds through events such as Discos, Film Nights, Fun Days, Raffles and shops during the school year. 

All children assume that school is just work but The Mariners want to make sure that children also have something to look forward to each term. We try to make sure that all children are included in all our events, we want the children to make long lasting school memories at fun events during their school year. 

The Mariners use funds from our Discos, Film Nights, Raffles and School Shops to purchase items for the school that they require. 

During the School Year 2023-2024 The Mariners were able to donate Christmas Chocolates for all the children, extra gifts for the discos, Easter Bonnet Making crafts, St Clements in Bloom materials donation, Gazebos for events, a Badge maker for clubs, a PA system for events, Year 6 end of Year Chips, and LFEST. 

The Mariners run these events as affordably as possible, all the money raised from the ticket sales, and shop sales, goes back to the children through the above donations, with lots more to come.  The Mariners will always ensure that all children can attend the events, we liaise with the school to ensure that all needs are met, including allergies, religion, preference and SEND.
