Objects: The Objects Of The CIO (objects) Are, For The Benefit Of The Public, To Protect Women From Violence And To Reduce The Occurrence Of The Crime Of Femicide In Particular, But Not Exclusively, By:(a) Collating, Analysing And Publishing Data On Femicide, Including Demographic And Social Factors;(b) Conducting, Participating In, Commissioning And Promoting Research On Femicide And The Dissemination Of The Useful Results Of Such Research;(c) Promoting Awareness And Understanding Of The Occurrence And Causes Of Men's Violence Against Women And In Particular Men's Fatal Violence Against Women; And(d) Promoting Improvements In The Understanding, Prevention, Management And Response To Femicide And Men's Violence Against Women, Girls And Children.
