REPORT OF THE TRUSTEES
FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31st MARCH 2025
The trustees present their report with the financial statements of the charity forthe year
ended 31st March 2025. The trustees have adopted the provisions of Accounting and
Reporting by Charities: Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to charities
preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting standard applicable in
the UK and Republic of Ireland IFRS 1021 (effective l January 2019).
OWECTIVES AND AcfiviTIES
Objectives and aims
The trust's objectives are "for the advancement of the education of the public in the history
of Edenbrid8e, the Eden Valley and the surrounding areas in particular, but not exclusively,
bythe provision and maintenance of a museum". The trustees have had regard to the
guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benelit.
FINANCIAL REVIEW
Reserves policy
The trustees plan to hold reserves of at least one year's salaries and other running costs in
order that the charity could continue in the short term while seeking additional funding
should the need arise.
STRUCTURE, GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMEMr
Governlng document
The charity Is controlled by its governing document, a deed of trust and constitutes an
incorporated charity.
Organlsational structure
The Trust is run by a Board of Trustees with day-to-day management devolved to a
management team.

The Eden Valley Museum Trust Incorporated Charity Number 1209505 was first registered on

8 August 2024. It was established to replace the unincorporated charity number 1065466
which was dissolved on 31 March 2025. at which time all assets were transferred to the
new incorporated charity.
